Sally Blake Jeannette Loakman
Award winning director and producer and co-founder of MOC DOCS, Sally Blake is one of the freshest and most exciting producers in the business today.

Recent acolades include a HUGO from the Chicago International Film Festival for her film "OffStage", GEMINIs as Executive Producer on "Life's a Twitch" and as Producer on the internationally acclaimed "HITMAN HART, Wrestling with Shadows".

Sally recently produced and directed the travel series "Suite and Simple" - a best selling series in both North America and Asia.  Her other credits include "The Disciples", "The Ex-files" and "The Machine Gun" - all before the age of 30!

Sally's roots are in current affairs and her dearest wish is to be in a James Bond film, riding a large Harley and besting James at the Baccarat tables.

A passionate advocate for documentary programming and broadcaster responsibility, Sally has volunteered for the last 5 years at both the local and National Executive of the Documentary Organization of Canada. 

Sally and Jeannette were founders of MOC DOCS - a not for profit organization that offers Canada's independent filmmakers an opportunity to write, direct, produce and premier a short comic mockumentary film theatrically and on television.  Produced in partnership with CBC Newsworld "Rough Cuts" and DOC.

Jeannette brings her rich and varied background to the dynamic challenges of television production. 

Award winning producer, director, and founder of MOC DOCS, Jeannette’s career spans nearly 10 years in broadcasting and journalism – in front of the camera as well as behind it. 

Recent productions include: "Annie Ong: Lost and Found", "Moc Docs" 2001-2003 and "Slippery Blisses". 

Jeannette worked as Programming Associate at Vision TV steering a host of documentaries from development to broadcast.  She also spent time in the CITY-TV newswroom working as a general reporter for CITYPULSE News, and as co-host on the first daily current affairs show on WTN. 

Prior to the broadcast business, Jeannette worked in the technology sector, living and playing in Asia, Europe and North America. 

Asian Chinese with a British accent, Jeannette brings a new meaning to the term diversity.

Jeannette also volunteers as Secretary on the Board of Directors for University Settlement House - a Toronto community and settlement centre that provides a myriad of services to the downtown.
