Chocolate Box Entertainment is a new kind of production company.  Started in January 2004, we are the hub for creative and innovative filmmakers – a place that generates fresh ideas and connects new people in new relationships to produce exciting entertainment.

No two chocolates are ever the same in our box.  We work with Canada’s best directors, writers, editors and producers.

Whoever is right for a project – we get.

When you dip into the Chocolate Box it’s like hand picking the perfect team with the perfect idea.  Whether you’re looking for something hard, a bit nutty or luxuriously soft, we have something for your taste.

Our ideas are diverse in content and style but all of them are innovative and take risks.  Give us the opportunity to pitch you a new kind of show with the best creative team and you won’t be disappointed.  At the end of our rainbow there’s always a Pot of Gold.

Chocolate Box Entertainment is the yummy fusion of two industry professionals – Jeannette Loakman and Sally Blake.  Together we’ve got 20 years of television experience.  We’ve hosted chat shows, produced current affairs, programmed television stations, commissioned as well as written, produced and directed a number of award winning films.  We’ve interviewed professional wrestlers, evangelical rock gods, kissing experts and long lost parents (as in our own).  Before Chocolate Box we co-founded and produced MOC DOCS to great international acclaim.  Now we’re branching out.

With Chocolate Box we fuse our own unique life experiences and creativity with the best and brightest of filmmaking talent – both established and soon to be discovered.  We believe in our ideas and we believe in the winning Chocolate Box recipe.  Let us show you what we can do.
