
The distributor was taken apart and I sandblasted the casting and assembelled it back with a new vacuum diaphram, points, rotor and cap. Usually you will need a lot of special tools to do a complete rebuild, but this one was off a low millage motor and the bushings were in fine shape. I picked up this Edelbrock manifold recently since I only have a 2 barrel cast iron one. The differance in weight between the cast iron and the aluminum one is amazing.

While I was rebuilding the distributor, I created this 3D model in Pro/Engineer. I never got around to doing all the bit's inside, or cutting the gear teeth yet.
