A rear shot of the body after trial fitting all the panels. The rear quarter panel caps did not line up very good, so I skimmed a little filler along the seam (A) about 4" wide. Before it fully set I scored a line along the seam with a razor blade so the cap can be removed latter. After the filler was hard I sanded across the seam until it was all blended in. After the caps were removed I sanded the cap and quarter panel edges and reprimed both. Now the seam is really smooth and all the edges meet up. The trunk lid also needed some work for a nice fit. The seam where the trunk meets the panel behind the window was not completly even, nothing a hammer and dolly and a little filler could not fix. The rear valence needed lots of trial fitting and rework to get the seam (B) between it and the rear quarter to line up. If all the panels where from the same car, and they fit nice before stripping the paint, this would have being a easy job, but since this car is using panels from at least 10 different cars, a lot of extra work is needed.
