Here is how it looks after the headlight pods, bumper filler and valence have being test fitted, aligned, and block sanded to 320 grit. The pods and valence took many hours of hard work to get everything aligned. Actually the whole body took many more hours of work then I expected. The job would have being a lot easier if the car was complete before I began to work on it, but since most parts where collected from at least a dozen "junkyards" getting everything to fit was the hardest part. Too many times that "mint" piece you find at a sale, turns out to be dented, cracked, rusted or bent after you strip all the junk off.

Next I will go over the doors, quarters and roof with 320 grit paper, using a 17" sanding block on as much of the surfaces as posible. After a final shot of primer and a 400 grit sanding it should be ready to paint.
