Description
Exclusive honorary nomination from Microsoft Corp. as a 3rd party advocate. Regional Directors (RD) form a special highly-influential task force where each RD is assigned a city as territory. There are over 140 RDs reaching across 51 countries in the world. There are 6 RDs in Canada. RDs enjoy a privileged relationship with Microsoft and have access to early software betas, exclusive & confidential information on future products and strategies, internal product groups and special events. 
Mandate
Educate and support the developer community through events, technical publications and user groups meetings and act as a channel between Microsoft and the Montreal IT professionals.
Nomination
Regional Directors are recruited as the top specialists in their field and some of the requirements include a deep technical expertise in software development, a vast knowledge of the IT business world, technical speaking and authoring skills, as well as sales and marketing aptitudes.
