Red LED emits a pure deep red compared with filtered lights which let more than just red light through.
LED has minimal power drain with an easy 100 hrs per two AA batteries
compared with  white light bulb that may last four to eight hours.
The LED bulb itself will last in the order of tens of thousands of hours,
