Other Points of Interest and Links
The recording location and dates are not actually specified on the CD booklet, although the Miller Theatre is credited and given "Special thanks". It is assumed here that since Grace Note Remote Recording was used that the facility was not a studio. Also, the Absolute Ensemble used the Miller Theatre for its Architectonics concert on May 12, 2000 (see the Concert Archive and the Radio Archive on that date). It has therefore been assumed that the date of recording was close to the date of the concert.
The disc booklet contains brief comments in English and German by both conductor Kristjan Järvi and composer Erkki-Sven Tüür. There are is also brief biographical information on both.
More information on the Absolute Ensemble can be seen at their own website.
If you have trouble locating this disc in your local music store, it can be ordered online from Amazon Germany or from the record company CCn'C.
