The name of The NYYD Ensemble could also be written as NÜÜD. The use of a "y" for "ü" is a modern day Estonian poetic usage which I first encountered in the works of the poet Johnny B. Isotamm (1939-). The Estonian word "nüüd" translates as the English word "now".
