Commissions, Dedications, Premieres and Awards
Passion was premiered on October 25, 1993 in Tallinn, Estonia by the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra under conductor Tõnu Kaljuste.
Insula Deserta was commissioned and premiered by the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra in 1989.
The Piano Sonata was premiered on March 6, 1986 by Kalle Randalu in Tartu, Estonia.
Lighthouse was commissioned by the Bachwoche Ansbach and was premiered on August 5, 1997 in Ansbach, Germany by soloists of the Bachwoche Ansbach conducted by Thomas Hengelbrock.
Spiel is dedicated to cellist Martin Ostertag and to guitarist Boris Björn Bagger and was premiered on April 7, 1992 at Karlsruhe, Germany by the Ostertag/Bagger duo.
Architectonics V was commissioned by guitarist John Tamburello from New York City, New York, U.S.A.
