- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later.
- Optional: none.
- Description: Lists available CD/DVD writers and determines their cdparanoia and, respectively, cdrdao identifiers. Even if one prefers to use cdparanoia from the command line, this script comes in handy for multiple (especially external) drives.
- Comment: Part of the iTunes to cdparanoia package.
- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, cdparanoia.
- Optional: MkConsole for monitoring.
- Description: Uses cdparanoia to rip, (a) CD tracks selected in iTunes, or (b) a mounted audio CD, or (c) an audio CD, mounted or not, in a specific drive. Optionally, it does a kind of ‘secure’ ripping: it extracts the same tracks twice and builds a list of mismatches, if any. After ripping, the tracks are added to an iTunes playlist and tagged.
- Comment: Main component of the iTunes to cdparanoia package.
- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, cdrdao.
- Optional: MkConsole for monitoring.
- Description: Uses cdrdao (which in turn uses the paranoia DAE libraries) to rip an audio CD to a disc image file, which can be used to burn a CD in DAO (Disc-At-Once) mode. The source CD may be selected in iTunes or in Finder, or it may be a dismounted CD in a specific drive. Optionally, it does a kind of ‘secure’ ripping: it extracts the same CD twice and builds a list of mismatches, if any.
- Comment: Part of the iTunes to cdrdao package.
- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, cdrdao.
- Optional: MkConsole for monitoring.
- Description: Uses cdrdao to burn a disc image file to CD-R in DAO (Disc-At-Once) mode (audio CDs, VCD, etc). Also may be used to read a CD-R’s ATIP code.
- Comment: Part of the iTunes to cdrdao package.
- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, bchunk, toc2cue.
- Optional: MkConsole for monitoring.
- Description: Uses bchunk to segment an audio CD image created by cdrdao into separate WAVE tracks.
- Comment: Part of the iTunes to cdrdao package.
- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, flac, metaflac.
- Optional: MkConsole for monitoring.
- Description: Uses flac to encode AIFF or WAVE files selected in iTunes. The iTunes tags are converted to FLAC comments and imported with metaflac.
- Comment: Part of the iTunes to FLAC package.
- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, flac, metaflac.
- Optional: MkConsole for monitoring.
- Description: Uses flac to decode FLAC files dropped on it to AIFF or WAVE. Decoded files are added to iTunes playlists and tagged with tags converted from the FLAC comments.
- Comment: Part of the iTunes to FLAC package.
- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, flac, metaflac, toc2cue or cueconvert.
- Optional: MkConsole for monitoring.
- Description: Uses flac to encode a BIN/CUE, BIN/TOC, or WAV/CUE audio CD image (such as created by cdrdao) dropped on it. The TOC file is converted to CUE format if necessary.
- Comment: Part of the iTunes to FLAC package.
- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, flac, metaflac, cue2toc or cueconvert.
- Optional: MkConsole for monitoring.
- Description: Decodes a flac-encoded audio CD image dropped on it either to raw PCM audio or to WAVE. If absent, the CUE sheet is exported from the respective FLAC metadata block; if required, the CUE sheet is converted to TOC format.
- Comment: Part of the iTunes to FLAC package.
- Requirements: Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, InDesign CS or later.
- Optional: none.
- Description: InDesign CS exports to PDF only entire pages. This script tells InDesign to copy selected page items to the clipboard as PDF, then writes the clipboard contents to a file. The script doesn’t work if the selection is text.
- Comment: Available at ScriptBuilders.
