April's poem "Blood blue, Blood-red" was published this summer in The Ontario Poetry Society's Unlocking the Muse anthology (Beret Days Press).

April A. Severin and Gordon Pullar had their little Red Hill book of poetry and illustrations called Voice of the Valley accepted for inclusion in the Projet Mobilivre (Bookmobile Project) North American touring collection 2005.

A haiku by April was the March 7th, 2005 Monday's Poem on the Leaf Press website.

April's poem "Offerings" is featured on the Tower Poetry Society website's home page for this year and in honour of National Poetry Month (April).

April A. Severin shared her poetry at the University of Toronto's Indigenous Literary Reading Series

On December 3 April made a presentation to Daniel Justice's Contemporary Native North American Literatures: Indigenous Writers in Canada class.

April received a Honourable Mention Award in The Ontario Poetry Society's The Price Is Right Contest
for "All-Weather Friend" and two Honourable Mention Awards in TOPS' Second Time Around Contest
for "For A Fellow Cookie Monster" from Animal Appeal and "Listen To The Earth" from Atatawi (gift).

April's poetry is available for reprint & broadcast with permission and payment.

April is available for readings & workshops including class visits with transportation allowance
and honorarium.

April is available as a literary consultant with a contract and fee.

April received a Honourable Mention Award in the Broken Fence Society's
Annual Juried Environmental Art Show 2004 for her assemblage "Dream Killer."
