Frightening Facts about Child Sexual Abuse
Crimes against children represent the most frequent of all types of crime.
Most sexual abuse occurs in the home.
Many molesters constitute an ongoing menace to children and
will continue to molest their own children, their grandchildren,
and any other children to whom they may have access.
Memories of abuse are often repressed.
In dysfunctional families, the sense of self that the child
is not the actual self but rather a false-self.
Lies inculcated in youth become adult opinions and convictions.
The life-saving function of repression in childhood is
in adulthood into a life-destroying force.
