Marty is inspired by the natural beauty of the Rideau Lakes area and is especially captivated by the many wild creatures living in and around this water wonderland.

Whether they are migrants or year-round residents, birds in particular have become the subject of Marty's watercolors and photographic work.

From senior military officer to software marketing executive to management consultant to digital photographer, Marty's varied careers and other interests have taken him across the world and now to Ontario, where he resides in Portland-on-the-Rideau.
