The museum is open daily from 9:30 am -- 4:30 pm, except Tuesday, during July and August.Six buildings, including two schools, a church, a pioneer log home, a general store and a barn house over five thousand artifacts covering all aspects of early life on the island. Farming, lumbering, maple-syruping, and black-smithing are just a few of the many displays.

Collector's Day -- 2nd Sunday in August

Travel 10 km
(6 miles) from highway 17 to
the Museum.
Afterwards,
visit the villages of Hilton Beach and Richards Landing.
