My husband and I are friends with a guy who's father was Bud Hobgood, who wrote several hit songs for James Brown (and also played the trumpet on several of James' albums) After receiving a royalty check from his Dad's estate this friend treated us and several friends to a wonderful dinner....so I guess you could say Bud and James took us out to dinner...."Thanks Bud and James!!"
