Not so fast, Alberta

Richmond Hill, Ont. -- If it's true that "oil companies don't know what to
do with their unexpectedly large cash flows," here's some advice: Build
wind turbines.
Since the safe assumption is that Alberta will eventually drain its tar sands
of oil, it would do well today to consider where it will get energy for its
citizens down the road. Should it fail to do so, the glittering streets and
packed restaurants of today's Calgary could be tomorrow's Pompeii.
