You were well-served by all parties

The main purpose of my first trip to Yukon was to help my friend, federal Green Party candidate Frank de Jong, with his election campaign.

During my 10-day visit I got to meet voters in Dawson and students in Mayo.

I also attended the all-candidates' debate in Whitehorse hosted by the Yukon Chamber of Commerce.

Throughout my travels I was struck by the warmth and hospitality of everyone I met.

I was impressed by the decency and respectfulness of the four candidates vying for MP.

As I observed the all-candidates' debate, I felt that Yukon would be well-served in Ottawa by any one of these people.

The spirit of goodwill shone through when the candidates who fell short came to the Liberal victory party and heartily congratulated Larry Bagnell on his solid win.
