Approximately 15 km

The trail crosses Highway 7 at Blackwater. Blackwater has no services, but it's a good access point to the trail. From Blackwater, you can go east to Lindsay (right fork) or Sunderland and Woodville (left fork), or west to Uxbridge.

Going west the trail is obvious all the way into Uxbridge. It basically cuts through marshes along the Beaverton River and there are excellent opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife viewing.

The next paved road that you cross will be Durham Road 23 from which it is about 2.5 km into Uxbridge. The next paved road you come to is Main Street. Turning left here will take you to Brock Street which is downtown Uxbridge.

This section of trail was last rode June 2002
