(Beaver River Wetland Trail)
Approximately 19 km

You can access the trail where it crosses Highway 7 at Blackwater. Take the trail west to Uxbridge, or east to Lindsay (right fork) or Sunderland and Woodville (left fork).

Taking the left fork north, the trail ends just before you get to Sunderland (3.5km) and you will have to take Highway 7/12 the remaining distance into Sunderland. Turning left on Durham Road 10 (River Street) will take you downtown.

In Sunderland, you can find the southbound trail by turning east from Highway 7/12 just south of the developed part of town. The northbound trail can be found by turning east at the first road north of town (7th Concesion).

North of Sunderland, the trail is obvious all the way into Woodville.

About 3.6 km north of Sunderland you will cross Highway 7. In another 7 km, you will reach Cannington. Turning left (west) on Cameron Street will take you downtown.

Continuing north, you will cross Durham Road 2 (Simcoe Street) in about 2.4 km. Another 2.7 km will bring you to Woodville (no services). As you come into Woodville, the trail crosses English Road and becomes private property (for sale as of 07/02) but last I checked there was nothing indicating any objection to using the trail. The trail ends in about 400m at King Street anyways.

This section of trail was last rode July 2002
