HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
     Not long after the Battle for the Mines of Kelbaker, the
Lerlim Navy was dealt a severe blow, losing several strategically
important battles.  The Lerlim hold on captured League systems was
thrown off, and the Lerlim Emperor sent diplomats to sue for peace. 
The League Council refused, so a secret Lerlim naval task force,
hidden by a new brand of electronic camouflage, sneaked through
enemy lines and launched an attack on an important military base.

    
SPECIAL RULES
     The League forces have been surprised by the sudden Lerlim
attack, so they may not move until the second turn and may not fire
until the third turn.
     The Lerlim player may use his drop ships to move troops to and
from orbit (see page 12 of the rulebook).

VICTORY:  The game ends after the twelfth turn.  The Lerlim player
wins if he inflicts 37 casualties on his opponent and suffers no
more than 23 casualties.  The game is a draw if he inflicts 37
casualties but receives more than 23 himself.  Otherwise the League
player wins.
