A Gazetteer of Mythic Greece

This is just a little page to tell people a little bit about the Gazetteer before they go to the trouble of downloading it. As I include more maps, the PDF file is starting to expand, and is currently 540k in size.

The Gazetteer consists of annotated maps of ancient Greece and nearby areas. Version 1.2 of the Gazetteer includes three maps:

regions of Greece and in the area of the Aegean
notable places in that area
notable places in the Peloponnese

Future editions

Version 1.2 is rougher around the edges than I'd like, but I figured I'd make it available. My plan for 1.3 is to fill in entries for a lot of places now shown on the maps but lacking related information.

A map of the Black Sea region would be good to add, too, to show where the Scythians and Amazons lived, as well as the location of Colchis.
