Jan 08 -- Coming of Age day or Young Adults Day. Feb 12 -- Day After National Foundation Day. Mar 21 -- Spring Equinox. Apr 30 -- Day After Showa Day. (Showa Day is a new holiday starting from 2007) May 03 -- Constitution Day. May 04 -- Nature Day. (moved to May 04 starting from 2007) May 05 -- Children's Day. Jul 16 -- Day of the Sea or Marine Day. Sep 17 -- Respect for the Elders Day. Sep 24 -- Day After Autumn Equinox. Oct 08 -- School Sports Day. Nov 03 -- Culture Day. Nov 23 -- Labor Thanksgiving Day. Dec 24 -- Day After Emperor's Birthday. The following days are not official national holidays but you are not likely to be able to schedule any business meetings on the day.
