(Jan 01 is a Sunday) Jan 10 -- Hari Raya Haji Jan 29 -- First day of Chinese New Year. (A Sunday in 2006) Jan 30 -- Second day of Chinese New Year. Jan 31 -- Make-up Day Holiday because Jan 29 is a Sunday. Apr 14 -- Good Friday. May 01 -- International Labor Day. May 12 -- Vesak Day. Aug 09 -- National Day. Oct 21 -- Deepavali Day. *** Oct 24 -- Hari Raya Puasa. Dec 25 -- Christmas Day. *** The date, 21 Oct. 2006, for Deepavali is based on calculations as before.
