    Jan 26 -- First Day of Chinese New Year. 
    Apr 10 -- Good Friday. 
    May 01 -- International Labor Day. 
    May 09  -- Vesak Day. 
    Aug 10 -- Day After National Day (because National Day falls on a Sunday in 2009)
    Sep 21 -- Day After Hari Raya Puasa (because Hari Raya Puasa falls on a Sunday in 2009)
    Oct 17-- Deepavali *** 
    Nov 27 -- Hari Raya Haji
    Dec 25 -- Christmas Day. 
   
    ***  The date, 17 Oct, 2009, for Deepavali is based on calculations as before. 
            It will be counter-checked with the Indian Almanacs when they are available 
            towards the end of 2008. Should there be a difference, we will update
