The Community Folk Arts Council is an umbrella organization representing and promoting the richness and diversity of the cultural and artistic activities of the many heritage communities throughout Toronto.

As a member of Folklore Canada International and CIOFF, the Council organizes a variety of program's and festivals in which our group members - groups that preserve the traditional dances, music, songs, arts and crafts of their heritage - can come together and showcase their exceptional talent and wonderful traditions.

 

 

Upcoming events : December 2-3 Christmas Around the World

 

42nd Annual Christmas Around the World Festival  
          at City Hall Rotunda, December 2 to 3, 2006



The Community Folk Art Council of Toronto (CFAC) and its member groups will be bringing together 18 different ethnic community Christmas displays at the 42nd Annual Christmas Around the World Festival at City Hall Rotunda, 100 Queen St. W., December 2 and 3, from noon 5 p.m. Admission is free.
 
Countries and Communities  Participating: Slovak Republick, Hungary, Serbia, Madeira, Poland, Pioneer Canada, Russia, Philipines, Mexico, Ukraine, Macedonia, Chile, Scotland, Switzerland, Portugal, Colombia and Chile

every Saturday and Sunday from 2 - 4pm -November 25 - December 17, 2006
