Former Berwick Station
fully restored, now in Embrun, 1999
This rail line had much promise for the founders and it never ended up being the line it was suppose to be. Not many know that this route, which once ran from Canada’s capital of Ottawa to the Adirondack Mountain resort of Tupper Lake, was destined to run from Ottawa to New York City and was initially two very separate rail lines before teaming up as one. I felt the best way to go through the line’s history was to break it down into the many companies it was known as.
