I had a friend in grade 7 who, after we read some watery
verson of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", would chant,
"Ichabod, Ichabod. Yeah, yeah," by sucking air in an
other-worldly croaking. Even after asking him, I was never sure
why he did that, other than it sounded kind of cool.

Flash forward many years. I'm in a movie theatre
that was built about the time I was in grade 7, and I'm sitting
with a different friend, watching Tim Burton's "Sleepy
Hollow." How shall I describe it? "Fine family
entertainment," suggests my friend.
