If you wish to register for any full classes, you can contact us to be put on
a waiting list in case of cancellations. For those who have promised to
mailing in their forms and payments, if we don't receive it within a few days,
you may not be able to get into the class!
We are currently recommending certain practice sessions for Toronto Dance students.
Give a gift of dance to friends and family. Toronto Dance offers gift certificates for all occassions:
The gift certificate will be emailed to you once it is customized. There is no additional charge for the gift certificate if you can print it yourself on a colour or b&w printer. You would just pay for the cost of the group classes or private/individual/wedding dance lessons. Call Toronto Dance at 416-598-4077 or .
A private lesson is for an individual or a couple to get dance instruction on a specific dance or dances. The have the flexibility of being booked whenever you are available (group classes are weekly at the same day and time). Semi-private means a small group but more than 2 people with the flexibility of private lessons.

Do you have a wedding coming up? Toronto Dance offers
wedding dance choreography for your special dance. Also remember about
lessons for dances with your parents, wedding party, bridal shower/party,
and stagette.
Most (95%) of our students complete an entire choreography within 3 1-hour private dance lessons! We charge $100/hour for one couple or $80/hour for couples who have taken our group classes. We are teaching private lessons near Yonge & Dundas, at the

If your wedding is more than 3-4 months away, we recommend that you attend our group classes so that you are more prepared by the time you wish to work on your choreography. Click on

If you know of a couple getting married and would like to give them a a wedding gift, consider a gift certificate for them to learn how to dance to their special song. You may also hire an instructor to perform or conduct a class at the reception. |

Due to our busy schedules, we can longer accept wedding couples with
weddings prior to Nov 20, 2009.
Cancellation Policy: Once you've booked a private lesson, you must cancel by 2:00pm two business days before your lesson to avoid a cancellation charge. For example, if you lesson is booked on Sat, you must cancel by Thurs 2pm. If you cancel after the time limit or don't show up, you must pay a $25 cancellation charge. Even if you booked a lesson for the next day, it is too late to cancel so you are obligated to show up or pay $25. Because of this policy, you must pay an additional $25 that will be used as credit toward your next/final lesson. If you decide not to continue with additional lessons, that $25 will be returned to you.

The majority of our students range in age from 20 to 40 years old. You can
see photos of them in our
page. About 20% of them are singles in Latin-Ballroom and about 50% of them are
singles in Salsa-Nightclub.
For our group classes, we have students who travel from throughout GTA, Brantford, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, St. Catharines, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Brampton, Mississauga, Aurora, Maple, Barrie, Richmond Hill, Markham, Ajax, Oshawa, Peterborough and Colbourg.
For our private lessons or wedding dance preparation lessons, we have students from as far as Niagara Falls, Sudbury, Quebec City, New York City, Cincinnati, Dallas Texas, Orange Country California and London England!

Toronto Dance will appear on TV with some Toronto Dance students. Chuan Chee is teaching a beginner class in Waltz, Rumba, and Tango to some students and to the host and hostess. Chuan and Jean are also interviewed about why is dancing romantic, etc. The show will be slightly humourous.
The show is on the W Network. In Toronto, it is Rogers cable 27.

Several Toronto Dance performers are performing on the big stage at the 18th Annual Fashion Cares gala benefit for the Aids Committee of Toronto. The event is held on Sat May 29 in front of 5600 guests. The M•A•C VIVA GLAM SUPERSTAR features an exclusive cocktail reception, bargain–filled boutique and auctions, a decadent dinner, followed by a shameless music and fashion extravaganza, and a dance-driven after party. |

Entertainers include fashion icon Linda Evangelista as host, diva legend Patti Labelle, Simone Denny (singer of Queer Eye’s “All Things” theme), Kristine W (reigning queen of Billboard’s dance charts), Lena Love, DJ The Lady Bunny, DJ Escape and DJ Matt C — with more names still to be announced.

We were on CP24 TV station on Sun May 30 morning. There was a quick shot of Jean and Chuan Chee doing the Cha Cha. A 1-hour special of "Fashion Cares" will be shown on the Fashion Television station very soon.

Jean and Chuan Chee of Toronto Dance will appear on "Surreal Gourmet", a weekly show on the Food Network. There are 4 couples dancing in the rain (literally): Salsa, Rumba, Waltz, and Tango. Unfortunately we are not involved in any of the cooking but we will be dancing and eating.
