Payment is by cheque, cash, online. You may pay by mail or
at the downtown office (not at the dance locations - unless
we are teaching a class at that day/time). If you wish to come to

Current students may pay at their current classes.

Our classes/lessons offer the best in beginner partner dancing with excellent instructors. The dance classes are at four locations in the downtown Toronto area and one location in the north end.

These classes are 1-hour per week for 9 weeks. Please be aware that our classes are fast-paced and is designed for people 16-40 years old. We are aware there are always exceptions (eg, if you already have some prior dance experience).

| Latin-Ballroom level 1 |
In this class, you will learn six dances:

| Latin-Ballroom level 2 |
Having mastered the figures in Level 1, you will learn more figures in this second level class. We introduce International-Style Waltz and Tango as well as introduce Quickstep and Samba. We'll incorporate more technique and styling as well. Once you've completed this class, you'll be quite comfortable dancing in ballrooms. |
| Latin-Ballroom level 3 |
Now that you're comfortable with the figures you learned from Levels 1 and 2, you're ready for a challenge! We'll introduce more advanced figures and before you know it, you'll be dancing like the pros. |
| Latin Variations (level 4) |
In this class, we will concentrate the Latin dances such as Cha Cha, Jive and Rumba and show you interesting figures for each. We recommend this class for students who have completed Levels 2 or 3. |
| Ballroom Variations (level 5) |
For students who have completed Levels 2 or 3, we offer this "strictly ballroom" class. We'll be teaching various figures in International-style Tango, Foxtrot and Viennese Waltz. |
| Latin-Ballroom level 6 |
This course is for students who have completed Levels 2 or 3 and Ballroom Variations. We will continue with more International-style Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz, Cha Cha and Rumba. There will be more emphasis on technique. |
| Latin-Ballroom level 7 |
This course is for students who have completed Level 6. There is more Cha Cha, Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep. |
| Latin-Ballroom level 8 |
This course is for students who have completed Level 7. We will concentrate on Waltz, with the goal being able to perform the Waltz as a routine. |
| Latin-Ballroom level 9 |
This course is for students who have completed Level 7. We will concentrate on Cha Cha, with the goal being able to perform the Cha Cha as a routine. |
| Latin-Ballroom Performance |
This course is for students who have completed Level 7. We will concentrate on performing one dance and learning a routine and associated technique. |
Cardio Salsa Fitness is a dance class focused on salsa footwork, and energized by motivating music for a continuous hour! Gorete makes it surpisingly easy to follow with her clear cuing and consistent breakdown of choreography. The end result, lots of fun, a great workout and moves that you can easily take to the dance floor. NO PARTNER REQUIRED!
These classes are 1-hour per week for 8 weeks.

| Cardio Salsa Beginner |
This class combines salsa and fitness (no partners required!). You require a no salsa or other dance experience. The focus is on Salsa-on-1 "shines". |
| Cardio Salsa Intermediate |
This class combines salsa and fitness (no partners required!). You require a little salsa or other dance experience. The focus is on Salsa-on-1 "shines". |
| Cardio Salsa Advanced |
This class uses Salsa-on-2 "shines". You require Salsa-on-2 experience or have attended the Intermediate class. |
These classes are 1-hour per week for 9 weeks. Please be aware that our classes are fast-paced and is designed for people 20-40 years old. We are aware there are always exceptions (eg, if you already have some prior dance experience).

| Salsa-Nightclub level 1 |
In this class, you will learn three dances:

| Salsa level 1 |
This course is the same as Salsa-Nightclub level 1 except it is only 7 weeks and there is no Merengue or Bachata. |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 2 |
Building on the figures you learned from level 1, we will turn our attention to cross-body lead variations (with the woman traveling from one side to the other, passing on the man's left side). A few additional Bachata figures are also taught. |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 3 |
Now that you can dance the basic figures, we'll teach you traveling right-turn variations. We'll also introduce you to double spins--now you're having fun! A few additional Bachata figures are also taught. |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 4 |
You're set to learn some interesting combinations now that you've mastered the first three levels. These include S-turns, lasso, spider and more cross-body variations. |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 5 |
Ready for some sexy dancing? It's time to learn the Coca-Cola variations and check variations. Put it all together and soon enough, you'll be the star of the dance floor! |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 6 |
This advanced class will focus on a variety of turn patterns, dips, tricks, shines and styling techniques to enhance your dancing. There will be a focus on musicality and dancing the turn patterns On 2. To attend this class you must have completed level 5 or successfully pass an assessment. |
| Specialty Classes | Description |
| Salsa Leading-Following |
This class is not offered Spring 2007. The secret to smooth and sexy salsa dancing is learning to read your partner's signals. In this class, the man will learn how to give signals and the woman will learn how to follow them. You'll learn how, when, and why you give signals. You will also experience reversing roles for the basic steps so you understand leading and following better. We recommend that you complete Level 2 before enrolling in this class. |
| Salsa Ladies Styling |
Hey Ladies! Here's a class just for you. Learn how to incorporate body waves, ripples and shimmies into your salsa dancing. Add some personality to your dancing while looking sexy and stylish. This class is suitable for those who have completed Level 2 Salsa. |
| Salsa Singles level 1 |
Mix and mingle with young single professionals from the ages of 20-35. You will learn the same things as in Salsa-Nightclub level 1 but the emphasis is on fun and rotating every few minutes. |
These classes are 1.25 hours per week for 8 weeks.

| Swing/Lindy Hop Beginner 1 |
In this class, you will learn the basics of a form of Swing called Lindy Hop. No experience needed. |
| Swing/Lindy Hop Level 2 |
This class will build on all the fun and fabulous basics and includes another dance called Charleston. |
| Swing/Lindy Hop Level 3 |
This class is a continuation of Level 2. You will refine your technique and connection skills. Of course there will be more complicated dance patterns. |
| Swing/Lindy Hop Level 4 |
This class focuses on dancing at faster tempos, blues and shines. |
| Lindy Hop Level 5 |
You will learn at a fast pace along with syncopated patterns. |
Unfortunately we do not offer West Coast Swing at this time. You might want to consider the Swing/Lindy Hop or Latin-Ballroom (which has Jive) classes as alternatives.
These classes are 1-hour per week for 8 weeks.
