Like many radio stations through out the years, CHUM often polled their listeners for thier favorite songs of all time. The earliest evidence I have of such a list is a "Memory music top 100" from '63.
This page of my CHUM site has published portions of these lists (where available) from each of these years which includes '63 '64 '66 '68 '70 '71 '75 '81 '83.
NEW Thanks to chart collector and E-bay seller John Dowling I've got a copy of the Top 300 in 1970.
