The principal direct line surnames include ABBOTT, BARTLETT, CHANDLER, ELDRIDGE, FITCH, HOWES, SEARS, SHAW, STODDER, SWANTON, TRACY, WILDER & WEBB. The recorded family statistics for the most part start in England, move to Colonial New England in the early 1600's and expand across North America from there. There are direct connections to the British Monarchy. Mayflower descendants are on both the Shaw and Webb sides. The Adams family connected through the Webbs is that of the two US Presidents. The playwright, William Shakespeare is also connected through the Webb line. We would also like to hear from anyone who can further add to our PIKE/DORRANCE line from Peter Pike back in hopes that we can tie him to the Mayflower Hopkins family.
