QUILTING CLASSES 2001-2002
Introduction to Quilting
The objective of this class is to make (piece, quilt and finish) a sampler wall hanging in 8 lessons, 2 hours per lesson. No previous sewing experience is necessary.
Intermediate Level Quilting
Previous quilting experience is necessary, 4 weeks, 2 hours each class. The objective is to complete a lap quilt consisting of star designs.
Crazy Hankie Pillow
This is a 2 hour class which includes instruction on making a quilt square using vintage hankies. Methods of embellishment are explored. Kits are available.
Crazy Quilting
Introduction to the basics of crazy quilting techniques. You can stop at one block or make a quilt. The history of Crazy Quilting will be discussed.
Chenille Work
Make a pillow, vest or baby quilt. Explore the basic techniques and use up the ugly fabric. Two hours introduction, longer class to make the vest.
