PICTURES - ORTH FAMILY II

This is a picture of George Leonard Orth (b. 1850), a son of Johann Peter Orth, and his wife Catherine Fischer.  George was born in Fürstengrund, Germany and died in 1944 in Wallace Township, Perth County, Ontario, Canada.  Catherine died in 1939.
This is a picture of George Leonard Orth and his wife, Catherine Fischer and their children.  Their children from left to right are:  Elizabeth (Heuckeroth), Anne (Bender), Margaret (Findlay), Will and Noah.
 

This is a picture of Jacob Orth, a son of Johann Peter Orth.  Jacob was born in 1856 in Woolwich Township, Waterloo County, Ontario, Canada, and died in 1936 in Wallace Township, Perth County, Ontario, Canada.

This is a picture of Jacob Orth and his wife, Mary Anna Wipfler, and some of their children.  From left to right, the children are:  Alfred Heinrich, Frieda (Ott), George John and Wilhelm.  This picture probably dates from around 1887 - 1888.
This is a picture of Peter Trockenbrod Orth and his wife, Katherine Gable.  Peter was a son of Philip Jacob Orth and a nephew of Johann Peter Orth.  Peter T. Orth was born in Fürstengrund, Germany, in 1842.  He lived for some time in Wellesley Township, Waterloo County, Ontario, Canada, and then moved to Wallace Township in Perth County, until 1880, when he and his family moved to near Plymouth, Nebraska, U.S.A.  Peter and his wife had eleven children.  Peter later moved to Laird, Saskatchewan to live with one of his sons  until his death in 1931 at the age of 89.
This is a picture of Philip Theodore Orth, another son of Philip Jacob Orth, and a nephew of Johann Peter Orth.  Philip was born in 1848 in Waterloo County, Ontario.  His first wife was Catherina Schneider who he married in 1870.  After her death in 1876, Philip married Katherine Doersam who was born on August 15, 1852, in Waterloo County, Canada.  He had a total of fourteen children, one of whom died in infancy.  Philip lived for a time in Waterloo County and then moved to Wallace Township, Perth County, Ontario, Canada.  In 1880, Philip and his family moved to a farm near Plymouth, Nebraska.  Philip passed away in Plymouth in 1925.  Katherine died in 1937.  The photo includes:  (back row left to right): Alexander, Reuben, Oliver, Emery, Edwin, Ira, William, Titus (middle row) Ilda, Elda, Ada (front row): Noah, Philip Theodore, Katherine, Eldon. 
This is an earlier picture of  Philip Theodore Orth and his wife Katherine (Doersam) and their children at their farm near Plymouth, Nebraska, U.S.A.  The picture probably dates from the late 1890's or early in the 1900's.  Shown in the picture (left to right) are: Katherine, Philip, Noah, Eldon, Ada, Oliver, William, Emery and Edwin.
