OBITUARY:
"DEATH OF MRS. WM. GALLINGER
Cornwall lost one of her olderst most highly respected residents on Saturday last in the passing at the Cornwall General Hospital of Mrs. Gallinger, relict of the late William Gallinger. The deceased, whose maiden name was Mary Sophia Hart, was born in Cornwall and may truly be said to have grown up with the town. She was a woman of very fine character, a loving wife and mother and a good neighbor, and her death is deeply mourned by a wide circle of friends. For a good many years she made her home at 613 Augustus Street. Surviving to mourn her loss are three sons and two daughters-- Mr. Darby Gallinger, 613 Augustus St., Cornwall; Messrs. Kenneth and Simeon Gallinger and Mrs. DAvid Anderson, Watertown, N.Y.; and Mrs. Farrand Gillie, of Cornwall.
The funeral took plaace from Mr. Bert Jardine's Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon to Trinity Church and Woodlawn cemetery and was attended by many friends of the family. The service was conducted by Rev. Canon W. Netten, M.A., Rector. The pall-bearers were Messrs. Darby, Kenneth, and Simeon Gallinger, sons Albert and Cecil GAllinger, grandsons, and Ed. Hart a relative. Beautiful floral offerings were placed on the casket, including a cross from Mr. and Mrs. Farrand Gillie and family: pillow from Mr. and Mrs Simeon Gallinger and family; sprays from Mr. and Mrs. Albert GAllinger, Mr. and Mrs. G.D. Gillie; cut flowers from Mr. and Mrs. C.M. McIntosh, and family.
The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the community."

"Death of Mrs. Fitzpatrick
An old and very highly esteemed resident of the Township of Cornwall, mrs. Catherine Fitzpatrick, died on June 22nd at the General Hospital aged 85 years. The deceased was a daughter of the late Capt. John Grant and widow of the late Hugh Fitzpatrick. She is survived by four sons and two daughters, Messrs. George and Lytle Fitzpatrick, of Napanee; Henry, of Boston; and Samuel of Cornwall. The funeral took place on June 24th from the residence of her son, Mr. Samuel Fitzpatrick, to Trinity (Memorial) Church and Woodlawn Cemetery, the Rev. Montaque G. Poole officiating at the service. The pall-bearers were Messrs. John and Chester Crawford, Michael Gallinger and Matthias Carpenter.
Among the relatives present from a distance were Mr. Lytle Fitzpatrick of Napanee; Mrs. George Grant, Mr. and Mrs. Hopson, Mr. & Mrs. Tracey and Mrs. Adams, of Messena N.Y.
The deceased spent her life in Cornwall Township and was greatly respected by all who knew her. A wide circle of friends join in sincere sympathy with the bereaved family."
