Deanna and Tim were married 25 October 1997. MBA 2000 is a landmark.
Some of Deanna's triathlons were landmarks.
Athletics:
July 2004 we tested out the Xterra track just prior to Deanna's
race - was a hot day. Under his own steam, Tim had an extreme trail
riding experience in May when he was bit by a swarm of mosquitos and
lost a shoe in some quicksand mudslide. See Deanna's page to see what

New
House!: As of March 2004, we are now homeowners in what might be the
fastest purchase on record - we started house shopping, saw this house
after 4 days, put the offer in the next day, took possesion in 2 weeks
and moved in the following weekend. It is nice to move from our 575 sq
ft apartment to 1305 sq ft (2000 sq ft with basement). It is a nice
area of NE Waterloo near recreational parks and easy access for
Deanna's commute to Guelph.
It's such a pleasure to have more space (we had a
575 square foot apartment and now a 1300 square foot house plus a
basement to stash anything you don't know what to do with!!) Not to
have to breathe the air of the smokers below us has been a great bonus
plus we have some fantastic trails that follow the Grand River right
outside of our door. And, for the country girl that still is in Deanna,
she can see a barn from our upstairs window! :) The commute to work is
no different for Tim and is a bit shorter for Deanna – all
country roads with only the occasional horse and buggy to pass!
We weren't planning to buy a home quite yet, but
things fell into place quite quickly and voila, we found ourselves with
a mortgage! :) We actually purchased and moved into the house within
three weeks! The house was empty when we saw it and we could leave our
apartment that quickly. It all happened before we really absorbed it
all.

Trips: We love
to travel!
-Deanna's first time to Saskatoon Jan 2003, to visit friends and see
where Tim completed his BSc.
-Interior BC in Spring 2003, Tim visited the cabin where he and his Mom
lived (last month was the 30th anniversary of her death), plus found
more about his family history
-East-coast driving trip in October 2003, visiting Quebec, New
Brunswick, PEI, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Maine and points and people
in between!
-Edmonton in November 2003, for some friendly visits
-Nashville March 2004, Deanna joins Tim on a business trip
-Atlanta July 2004, Deanna joins Tim on another business trip and goes
to visit Mariko in South Carolina
-To the cottage near Kingston a couple of times in the July-Sept
-Vancouver Island, BC October 2004
- Chicago November 2004, Deanna joins Tim on
business and we take time to sightsee over the weekend. -2004 was a
great year for Deanna to accompany Tim on his work travels. Nashville
in April, Atlanta in June and Chicago in November! Chicago was a great
city – we really enjoyed our week-end in the windy

Amazing how quickly time flies when you are having as much fun as we
are! Fall 2004 BC vacation. We had a great time visiting family and
friends on the Island. The added bonus was that we travelled with
Deanna's folks. They are great travelling companions. Deanna's
highlight was Tofino - she loved the great beaches and untouched beauty
of the area. Tim's highlight was connecting with family - an Aunt and
two Uncles that we just discovered in the spring. They shared the same
Mom as his Mom.- Nashville Feb 2005, Deanna joins Tim - we have a nice
time at Opryland Hotel for a few days off - August 2005, a long weekend
at the cottage in Verona, Ontario-Week off at the cottage in Sept -
full R &R!
