Your Canadian Stop for Ontario Year of Manufacture License Plates

Ontario classic car owners can now register old “Year of Manufacture” (YOM) plates from the same year as when the vehicle was made!

For example, an original pair of plates issued in 1959 may be attached to a vehicle manufactured in 1959. The last year in which Ontario licence plates were manufactured showing the year was 1973.

Cars manufactured after this date cannot be registered under this program. Please scroll to the bottom of the page for more details.
