A native of Toronto, soprano Trish O'Reilly studied at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto; the Royal Conservatory of Music; and the Banff Centre for the Arts. Trish has an eclectic performing career in theatre, music theatre and opera, appearing with companies such as the Canadian Opera Company, Tapestry Music Theatre and Sudbury Theatre Centre. In 1995 Trish was a member of the Blyth Festival Company performing the world premieres of two new Canadian plays,  Ballad for a Rumrunner's Daughter, and  This Year, Next Year.

Current/Recent Non-GALS Activities: Trish appeared as Titania in Cabbagetown Theatre's fast and frenetic one-hour version of Shakespeare's  A Midsummer Night's Dream at Toronto's Fringe Festival in July 2000. She is also working at (planning and fundraising for) a long-term project of her own: an experiment in clown theatrical techniques and opera using Mozart's   The Marriage of Figaro.
