My 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340

This is my 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340. It is B7 blue (dark blue poly) with black interior and white bumble bee stripe. The car was originally a stripe delete car (coded V88), but I put one on for the looks. Options include an automatic transmission, bucket seats with console, chrome left hand remote racing mirror, rallye wheels, 3.91 gears and hood pins. I have switched to 3.23 gears for smoother highway cruising.

A complete front end rebuild is planned for next spring. The original rubber bushings are starting to show their age. I also have a brand new set of trim rings that will be installed afterwards once car is aligned.

The engine compartment has been cleaned up and the healthy 340 was repainted in its original "HEMI Orange" hue. The air cleaner housing was blasted, primed and a fresh coat of black wrinkle finish paint was applied. Everything is basically stock with the exception of plug wires, battery and the alternator housing and valve covers have been chrome plated. The engine still has its original exhaust manifolds, headers were never installed on this car.
