Facility 88 acre resort is tucked away on a private peninsula facing Port Daniel Bay (fiord) . Chaleur Chalets is located within the village of Port Daniel and guests enjoy a fabulous view across the Bay of the village, rail road tunnel (only one in eastern Canada), tussle and mountain range.  
Beaches 2 beaches. 1 on Port Daniel Bay and the other on Chaleur Bay.  
Coves 3 coves (small beach/inlet)
Ocean trails Miles of maintained trails along the ocean and up the mountain.  See majestic vistas.  Rest on park benches and see wildlife including deer, partridge and rare harlequin ducks, cormorants, whales, seals, many species of birds including 15 varieties of seagull.   
Mountain trails 8 km of peaceful maintained trails  
Lighthouse Working lighthouse. This masonry construction with retrofitted electric sealed Coastguard light guards the west entrance to Port Daniel Bay and wards off shipping accidents from atop its limestone reef.  
Chalets (various models) Fireplaces,  1, 2 and loft bedrooms, living room, kitchen or kitchenette, individual room electric heat, full or 2 piece bathroom, utensils, cookware, decks, magnificent view, on the ocean.  
Motel 1 and 2 queen beds, electric heat, full or 2 piece bath, kitchen facilities.  
Barbecue Common brick pit for all guests  
Tennis Double tennis court with groomed clay surface. Guests can always find a player or couple.
