Flowering Crabapples
I no longer stock flowering crabapple trees, but I have left this section of the Web site here for reference purposes. Sorry, I don't have up-to-date information about who might carry these plants.
While most people buy flowering crabapples for the wonderful show of blossom in late spring, many crabapples are also edible…since they’re all from the same family as the apple trees. And, any crabapple can be used to make crabapple jelly (but some have such small fruit that it’s not worth the effort).
Like apples, there are hundreds of varieties of flowering crabapple. These ones are hardy in Zone 4.
