Pavement Roses

The Pavement series of roses are very hardy, low-growing roses that are perfect to place along the edge of a walkway, or where you need a smaller rose bush. Exceptionally hardy, repeat flooming, and very fragrant.

The "Flower Carpet" series of roses do not seem to be as hardy in our Zone 4 area, so I no longer sell them.
We keep a large variety of hardy roses, but not everything listed on the site is always in stock. To check for general availability, see this page:

Flower Carpet Roses (Appleblossom, Red, White, Yellow, Pink) These roses are supposed to be covered in masses of blooms all summer. No longer recommended: appears not to be hardy in this area, and suffers from blackspot! If you've had success in the Ottawa area with Flower Carpet roses, please let us know. 2-3’ 12-16” ??
Dwarf Pavement Rose Rosa rugosa ‘Dwarf Pavement’ A very compact rose with bright pink, fragrant semi-double flowers. Blooms repeatedly throughout the summer. Makes an excellent border plant.
Pavement roses are tough as well as beautiful. They are tolerant of extremes in temperature and will do well in full sun or partial shade. Also highly salt tolerant.		 2.5’ 2.5’ 3
Foxi Pavement Rose Rosa rugosa ‘Foxi Pavement’ Deep purple-pink, single flowers have a strong “rose” fragrance. Big, deep red rosehips in the fall.

Pierrette Pavement Rose Rosa rugosa ‘Pierrette Pavement’ Masses of dark pink, semi double flowers with an exceptionally strong, award winning fragrance. Low growing with a spreading habit makes it great for borders and low hedges.

Scarlet Pavement Rose Rosa rugosa ‘Scarlet Pavement’ Very fragrant, semi-double, red to light red flowers bloom all summer. An abundance of dark red rosehips in the fall.
