The SLD Meets
The bi monthly meets form the focal point of the SLD activities.
We typically meet the last Saturday of every second month from Sept through to May each year
(Sept, Nov, Jan, Mar & May).
Though the format and content of the meets will vary from time to time, the general
theme involves a series of clinics in the morning followed by a tour of some local
layouts. As we are a "hands on" club, the topics are typically geared towards modelling
skills and ideas.
The SLD Meet Schedule
Even before the current meet has taken place, we are busy planning the next one!
Mark these dates in your calendar to make sure you don't miss any.
The meets are scheduled for the last Saturday of alternating months and run from
about 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. We often use a hall at the Emmanuell United Church (Smyth Road) with an occasional meet
at other locations in the region such as the Smith Falls Raliway museum.
