• Developed the EMV application specifications for Interac Shared Cash Dispensing and Interac Direct Payment.

• Developed contactless payment specifications (Paypass specifications) for MasterCard International.

• Reviewed contactless payment specifications for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Fare System.

• Developed the security architecture and design specifications of a stored value card system for a US customer.

• Performed security evaluations of smart cards, security products, and banking systems for various customers.

• Developed Integrated Circuit Card (ICC) System Specifications for the Interac, MasterCard, and Visa Chip Card Project. Members of the project include the Interac Association, MasterCard, Visa Canada, and all major Canadian financial institutions.

• Developed models and performed smart card business analyses for debit, credit, and stored value card applications for the Interac Association.

• Provided consulting services to MasterCard International on Secure Electronic Transaction (SET) and other eCommerce products.

• Developed an elliptic curve version of SET, EMV, SSL/TLS, ANSI X12 EDI, and EDIFACT for Certicom Corp, and performed performance analyses of elliptic curve for SET, EMV, and SSL/TLS.

• Developed corporate security policy and standards and certification practice statements for several customers.

• Provided smart card and security training to various customers.

• Developed smart card specifications for Mondex Canada.

• Developed security system specifications for the Canadian Federal Government.

• Participated in acquisition/investment due diligences, and performed product positioning for several customers.
