History |
|||
|
The club was founded in the mid sixties as the Lake Simcoe Railway Modelers. Since then the club has built and dismantled several layouts in both HO and N scale at several locations in Barrie. In 1989 the club commenced construction on our Lake Simcoe Railway portable HO Layout. In 1991 the clubs name was changed to the Barrie-Allandale Railway Modelers to reflect the geographic location of the club. In 2003 we began a 2nd Layout. This is a modular layouts allowing members to work on modules at home in their favorite theme and connect to other modules at functions any where. |
