Friday Afternoon Tour

12-3pm

We have a special treat for you!

Your registration package includes  a FREE tour

of the historic Fulford  Place Mansion in Brockville ON.

The Ontario Heritage Trust will be open the mansion to all Gathering registrants

from  12-3pm on Friday for our own private tour.

*Please indicate on the registration form if you plan to visit Fulford Place on your way to the Gathering. We need to let the tour guides know the number of people expected to tour the mansion.  You must be on the tour list to be admitted to the house.

This beautiful marble mansion was built in 1899-1901 for millionaire and Senator George Taylor Fulford I (1852-1905) and his family. Ornate ceilings, carved panelling and opulent antiques are on display in Fulford Placeís main floor rooms. Much of the furniture dates from the days when George Fulford I and his wife Mary Wilder White lived there.

For a preview of the mansion go to

The mansion is in Brockville, only 15 minutes east

of our resort and a perfect way to begin the Gathering.

Hotel registration begins at 3:30pm at the resort so you have all

afternoon to wander around this beautiful house and perhaps enjoy

lunch in the tearoom

                                                                As an added treat!

                                                   Afternoon Tea: $25

Admission to the mansion and the tour is free but we have arranged for an elegant English tea (sandwiches, fruit, pastries and a scone with preserves) to be served in the mansion tearoom.  The cost for this luncheon is $25 (gratuities included). There will be 2 seatings on a first come first served basis beginning at 12 noon. If the first seating is filled you can tour the mansion and then return to the tearoom for lunch.
