These are the known errors, if you find others please contact me and I will post them here.

REVISED 2001 FEB 22

Unit 1, page 42, #9
Alternative (d) should read: "negative scores can occur".

Unit 3, page 37
In the numerical example SX should be 50, not 90.

Unit 5, page 26, #16
The pop-up solution shows the answer as (0.18)( 0.18) = 0.0342; this should be (0.18)(0.18) = 0.0324.

Unit 5, page 32, #22
The answer, alternative (e), should be 0.0050 since (0.0705)² = 0.004970.

Unit 7, page 27, #19
The question should read: "A random sample of 31 inmates ...".

Unit 10, page 26, #2
In the pop-up solution the degrees of freedom should be df = 10 + 10 - 2 = 18.

Unit 13, page 10, #3
In the pop-up solution an observed frequency is mistyped; it should be "201" not 210.

Unit 13, page 37, #9
The question should read: "... and 5, 5, and 10 for persons with low blood pressure. ".

Unit 13, page 46, #18
The correct answer is alternative (b).
