Fly Tying and Custom Fly Tying
Fly tying can be tricky and quite a few fly fishermen just can't be bothered to spend the time learning how to tie flies. Nothing wrong with that. sometimes fly fishermen will pick a few patterns when they are on an angling trip, then when they sit down at home to try and reproduce them they say, "What the#@$!, how did they do that?"

This page is perhaps one of the smallest on my website, but it offers you one cracking service. For over 40 years I have been tying flies. Think about that for a second. 40 years. so if you have a pattern which you need copied, all you need to do is send it of to me and there is a good chance that I will be able to reproduce it for you. For just over 25 years I have been tying flies professionally, and only once or twice have I been stumped on how a pattern was put together. Heck, I can reproduce your last fish catching fly, or tie the patterns found in books and magazines, if you send me the fly or a colour photocopy of the magazine page.

Some of the services I offer are:
Competition patterns tied to international rules and standards.
Commissioned exhibition and display work.
Traditional fully dressed Atlantic salmon flies.

Here is how it works:
1. Send me off an e-mail to let me know that you need some flies tied up.
2. I will reply to your e-mail.
3. You send the pattern to me by Express Post.
4. When the package arrives, I will confirm I have it
5. I will let you know how much the flies will cost.
6. I tie the flies and get them out to you.
7. Done

If you use my custom tying services, no one but you and I will ever know. I tie quite a few hair-jigs for the lads who fish the ProBass tour, and if I can keep them happy by not telling anyone about the patterns I tie for them, I bet I can keep you happy.
