(The Fisherman's Advocate, July 26, 1940, page 5, from Port Union Notes)
Mr. Bert Butler this week received the sad news of the death of his brother James, who was serving with the Forestry Unit in Scotland. Death was not due to any accident but to an internal complaint which the deceased had developed. James was a native of Port Rexton and his brother Bert is residing at Port Union, where he is employed as a cooper.
