There passed peacefully away at Port Rexton on Wednesday, November 7, after a lengthy illness, William Fowlow Butler in his 67th year. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Susie, two sons, Noah with whom he resided; Leslie at Horseshoe Bay, Vancouver; three brothers, Casabinaca at Port Rexton, James at St. John's and Norman at Vancouver; five sisters, Mrs. Reuben Randell, Mrs. Walter Randell both at Port Rexton; Mrs. Mary Hogarth, Trinity East, Mrs. Maggie Day of St. John's and Mrs. Jennie Heasman at Horseshoe Bay, Vancouver, also 3 grandchildren. The funeral was held at Christ Church at 2:30 p.m. on Friday with Rev. A. E. Bennett officiating. The LOA of which the deceased was a member, paraded in a body to pay their last respects to their departed bother. Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved.
